Building Materials
In 1993, IDL diversified into gypsum based eco-friendly products, which
find application in the building and interiors segments. A revolutionary
concept in India - extreme use of this product has been made in Asia's
first luxury 5-star 'ecotel' (eco-friendly hotel) - the Orchid, Mumbai.

Wind Energy
At Ramagiri in Andhra Pradesh, IDL has commissioned a windmill project
to generate 1 MW of power. The project includes four windmills of 0.25
MW each and is expected to meet the major portion of the power requirements
of IDL's Hyderabad complex.

Taking advantage of its resources of land, scientists and research facilities,
IDL has entered the field of floriculture. Varieties of roses are being
