This special plaster is for internal plastering over bare brick walls, hollow concrete blocks, concrete columns, R.C.C. ceilings and is an effective time and cost saving substitute for conventional sand cement plaster.

It can be easily applied by any experienced painter or POP applicator using a putty blade.

Easily Done

Supplied in powder form which is ready for application after mixing with clean potable water.

Easier Workability

Easier to mix. Easier to apply. Easier to finish. Less water consumption hence faster and less messy work. A 35 kg bag of powder needs only 50 to 60 litres of water.

Economical

A controlled set which eliminates costly waiting time. Single coat application hence economical and time saving.

Coverage

1 kg covers approximately 1.20 sq. feet with 12 mm uniform thickness.

Recommended Application Procedure

  • Always mix powder to water NOT water to powder.
  • Powder should be mixed with water immediately after taking out the bag, to keep mixing time to a minimum.
  • Material should be thoroughly mixed and should be free from lumps and foreign material before use.
  • Always fold back the bag after taking out material and store in a dry place.
  • Surface to be plastered should be thoroughly brushed with a broom to remove dust and loose mortar.
  • For top coat after applying vermiculite paster, a thin QED stucco paste can be applied using a puuty blade to get smooth surface.
  • Thickness of the plaster can be maintained from 5 mm to 14 mm.
  • Surface can be painted with water soluble paints i.e. mainly oil bound distempers, acrylics or plastic emulsion paints. Avoid usage of cement paint.
